Plumbing Estimating Service
Fees for service are determined either by the Classification Estimating Fee Schedule and actual Bid Range; Special Fee Quotations and a Hourly Rate.
Since an alternate has to be estimated as a complete job, each alternate requiring an estimate will be charged at the rate shown on the fee schedule.
Fee Schedule
On completely designed jobs where the client is furnishing all material, please refer to the estimating fee schedules.
Selection of the specific Estimating Fee Schedule is determined by the classification for the project being estimated (Class 1TM, Class 2TM or Class 3TM).
Also, please note special fee quotations on the respective fee schedules.
Special Fee Quotations
Special fee quotations are required for conceptual budgeting and design/build jobs.
Special Fee Quotations are also noted on the Classification Estimating Fee Schedules.
Hourly Rate
For partial estimates, design build, change orders or as an option to the classification fee schedule, an hourly rate is charged.
The Hourly Rate also applies to addenda, unit pricing and other work not associated with the original project request.
Other Charges
Shipping charges are not included in fee schedules and are charged separately.
Blueprint and specification printing are not included in fee schedules and are charged separately.
Plan download fees are not included in fee schedules and are charged separately.
